Centenary Church Appeal Newsletters

An appeal is like a tree, and we are having problems with branches. The branch of our supporters and friends has been magnificent, giving huge support. We have failed, however, with two other major branches: an appeal like this needs to find at least one major donor to give a large sum, and at least one major grant. We have found no major donor, and no major grant so far. From our ordinary donations we can hope to raise a final total of something like £600,000, which will be well above target for ordinary donations. The total project for phase 1 on the other hand is £1.7m, and we have borrowed the difference for now in order to get on with this urgent work.

The grand total for FR George’s sponsored bike ride so far is £2,703. 50, plus some gift aid. Many thanks to everybody for all this generosity and support.
