St Francis' House Hemingford Grey in Huntingdonshire is owned by the Community and run by a dedicated staff. There is accommodation in 17 single and 3 twin bedded rooms, centrally heated throughout and hot and cold water in all bedrooms. Five (single) rooms are at ground floor level, and some limited facilities for disabled visitors.
There is a large garden, and from the village guests can enjoy walks along the river and meadows nearby. Central to the life of the House is the Chapel on the upper floor. The dining room, lounge, small well- stocked library and reading room are on the ground floor. Parishes, colleges and other organisations make group bookings and usually arrange their own Retreat Director. For 'Open' retreats clergy and laity apply as appropriate. (See current retreat list). Applications should be made to the Warden, and a stamped addressed envelope is appreciated. For the postal/ email address and telephone number of the warden please see the bottom of this page.
